I just installed this plugin on WordPress 3.0.1. When I went to the settings page I got the message

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Any suggestions on what needs to be done to fix this?

@Arsenio, @Mark Something isn’t right there, making that change *should* result in a header named DEBUG INFO and three or four lines of text following, Do you have DEBUG INFO anywhere in your sidebar?

Hi rjune, great calendar plugin! I had the same issue as some of the others when i first installed. Showed the date (1 Jan 1970 730am – 730am) when I first installed it. Upon inputting events it went away. Would the problem come back once the events have ‘expired’?

The second thing I wanted to know is how I could put a subscribe to this calendar button at the bottom of the widget.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

Can you please test this one: with a new calendar (private) in your google calendar account and put just 3 incomming events…
Now, active a new Gcalsidebar in your test web with this: Just show 4 incoming events… I’m sure that you will see 3 events with dates and the 4th will be just a date (without title), but in your google calender don’t exist !!

I hope you can help us, because I saw that other people have the same error.

PS. Yes, If I would have 4 incomming events don’t see problems.

@Mark This is the offending line. $calGroup['timezone'] = sprintf("%s", $gcal->timezone->attributes()->value); There are three possibilities for the cause of that error. I don't have a godaddy LAMP account to try this on, so bear with me. That line is the else part of an if ... else .. clause Can you change it to read:


else {
echo "DEBUG INFO
";
echo $gcal . "\n";
echo $gcal->timezone . "\n";
echo $gcal->timezone->attributes() . "\n";
echo $gcal->timezone->attributes()->value . "\n";
$calGroup['timezone'] = sprintf("%s", $gcal->timezone->attributes()->value);
echo "";
}

After you change it, please hit the page again then send me either a screenshot or the displayed information

@Daso, this looks to be an issue with an empty events list. If you put an event into the calendar, it works correctly, yes?
