GCal Sidebar 2.2 is out. I’ve added a couple of new features contributed by users and fixed a bug.
- Implemented “All day” idea from brady8(your patch was an old version)
- Added patch from Ned for richsnippets support
- Fixed bug with private calendars
- Properly sorted required / optional configs in the widget config
I’ve spent some time working on multi calendar support for GCal Sidebar. Please download 2.0 and give it a whirl, If all goes well I’ll make it an official release on WordPress.org. Right now though, consider it beta. everything worked in my testing, but it may not work for you. Leave comments here and I’ll resolve the issues I can.
I wrote a quick reminder script to send email alerts seven days and one day prior to an event in a Google Calendar feed. I use it to send reminder notices to a mailing list. If anyone else finds it more than a handy little one off, I’ll happily accept patches back and update it for other features. If anyone has a better solution for automated reminders of events, I’m all ears.
GCal Sidebar 1.0 is out. This release fixes a bug and should render the Timezone offset option irrelevant
- Pulls timezone information from the calendar feed and sets the default timezone based on that.
- Adds timezone information back into event links, so that you get correct times even if you are not logged into google.
Money 0.2 is now available, it fixes a couple of errors I found and was submitted to WordPress.org. Hopefully it’ll find it’s way into the main repository.
